Music Therapy for Early Childhood Programs
AGES 2-5 · CLASSROOM EMBEDDED · PLAY BASED · THROUGHOUT CHICAGOLAND
Dynamic Lynks brings board-certified music therapy directly into your early childhood classrooms. Play-based, developmentally appropriate, and built around where each child is right now.
INSIDE THE CLASSROOM
Our therapists come to you. Early childhood music therapy at Dynamic Lynks is embedded directly into your classroom environment, meeting children in the space where they already feel comfortable and safe.
Sessions are play-based, joyful, and purposeful. To an outside observer it looks like music time. To a trained clinician it is structured therapeutic work targeting specific developmental goals through every song, instrument, and musical interaction.
Young children do not need to sit still, follow complex directions, or understand what therapy means. They just need to show up. Our therapists meet them exactly where they are.
✓ Embedded in your classroom — no disruption to your school day
✓ Small group format designed for early childhood settings
✓ Play-based and developmentally appropriate for ages 2-5

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
Early childhood is unpredictable. A child is having a hard morning. The group is dysregulated. Something happened at drop-off. A planned activity is not landing. Our therapists are trained to recognize what is happening in the room in real time and adapt their approach on the fly.
We come in with a plan. We are not attached to it. What matters is what the children need in the moment, and our therapists have the clinical training and the musical toolkit to meet that need immediately.
RESPONSIVE SESSION PLANNING
Sessions are planned with intention but delivered with flexibility. Your therapist adjusts interventions, tempo, instrumentation, and structure based on what the group needs in real time.
MULTIPLE CLINICAL APPROACHES
Our therapists draw from multiple evidence-based approaches, combining them fluidly to best match each child's needs on any given day.
COLLABORATIVE WITH YOUR STAFF
We communicate regularly with your teachers and aides, sharing observations and strategies so the work continues between sessions.
INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION WITHIN THE GROUP
Even within a group session, your therapist is tracking each child individually, making micro-adjustments to engage and support every student in the room.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW
NO DIAGNOSIS REQUIRED
A formal diagnosis is never required to participate in Dynamic Lynks school programs. We work with children based on their needs and goals, not their paperwork. If you have children in your program who you think could benefit, a consultation call is the best next step.
We also work with programs that serve mixed populations, embedding music therapy in a way that benefits all children in the room while providing more targeted support to those with specific needs.
