Are you a Board-Certified Music Therapist looking for a flexible and exciting work environment? Do you have a passion for pediatric therapy with experience in schools?
Dynamic Lynks is the team you are looking for! Dynamic Lynks is currently accepting applications for Board-Certified Music Therapists to join our school and clinic-based team for a full-time position. Applications will be accepted through April 2025 with interviews in May 2025 and final offers sent in June 2025.
Applicants should have experience with neuroscience-informed music therapy approaches, child development, and experience leading both individual sessions and music therapy groups. Ideal candidates will have experience working with the following: autistic children and adults, ADHD-ers, communication disorders, sensory processing needs, mental health needs, diverse behavioral needs, and developmental disabilities - ages 2+.
Full-time positions require driving as we provide school-based and in-center therapy services. Dynamic Lynks serves the Greater Chicago area through our Oak Park clinic as well as contract and in-home services in the western and southwestern suburbs (Cook, DuPage, and Will counties).
All positions at Dynamic Lynks are hourly or salaried, W2 positions. We offer a variety of scheduling options to meet the goals of candidates applying for our team. These full-time positions will be a Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday schedule.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

Board Certified Music Therapist (or sitting for the CBMT exam prior to start date) with specialization in child development and pediatric therapy

Creativity and experience with songwriting and original intervention development
-
Valid driver’s license, as position requires travel
-
Compassionate, flexible, and friendly when working with clients and co-workers
-
Proficient musical skills in: Voice, guitar, piano, percussion
-
Experience working with children and adults with a variety of neurodiverse diagnoses (developmental disabilities, ASD, ADHD, communication disorders, and more)
-
High level of confidence in facilitating groups, group therapy experience preferred
-
High level of confidence in facilitating 1:1 therapy sessions
-
Strong professional skills in leadership, teamwork, communication, writing, program development, goal setting, and treatment planning
-
Open to growth and training through new frameworks and philosophies
Desired Qualifications:

NMT (Neurologic Music Therapy) certification and/or training
-
Experience in neuro-affirming therapy practices
-
Experience with diverse communication styles (AAC, Gestalt Language Processing)
Compensation & Benefits

Commensurate with previous experience and level of education: positions start at $35/hour for part-time employees or $45,000/year for salaried employees
