At Dynamic Lynks, we provide comprehensive therapeutic sessions and groups to spark growth, development, and discovery in individuals of all ages and abilities. Through affirming and client-centered practices, we give every individual the opportunity to succeed without intimidation or isolation.

 

Music Therapy is a space to find confidence, acquire new skills, and reach goals through joyful therapeutic music experiences! Our team at Dynamic Lynks emphasizes the importance of parent and client education, providing resources you can use at home to go from stress to success with holistic help and hope.

Alyssa Stone, MM, LPMT, MT-BC, CYT 500
Owner & Founder, Clinical Director
Neurologic Music Therapist

Alyssa is a Board Certified, Neurologic Music Therapist, music educator and yoga instructor. Her holistic approach, engaging expertise and determined drive have led to the reality of her life-long goal, running a  successful therapeutic center for children. A graduate of the University of Miami, Alyssa studied Music Therapy, Music Education, and Psychology. Alyssa is currently pursuing her PhD in Music Therapy at Colorado State University. Alyssa's passion lies in celebrating neurodiversity and providing the best therapeutic services to help all individuals reach their fullest potential! Alyssa's current areas of research include executive function skill development through neuro-science informed techniques for neurodivergent individuals.

Ava Marvin, LPMT, MT-BC, CYT 200
Internship Director & Student Coordinator
Music Therapist

Ava is a Board Certified Music Therapist and Certified Yoga Instructor with a wide range of experiences working with children, adolescents, and adults. Ava received her degree in music therapy from Queens University of Charlotte where she also minored in psychology and theater performance.  Ava’s holistic approach is focused on viewing individuals as a whole person within the context of their life circumstances, and celebrating differences. This philosophy is at the center of her passion to therapeutically support individuals to fulfill their fullest potential and reach a variety of goals.

Carly Scruggs, LPMT, MT-BC
Music Therapist

Carly is a board-certified music therapist. She received her Bachelor's degree in music therapy from West Virginia University. Carly has experience working with students ages 2-26 in public schools, having completed her internship at Monroe County Intermediate School District in southeast Michigan. She especially enjoys working in early childhood special education. Carly’s approach to therapy places emphasis on client autonomy, exploration, and the client-therapist relationship. She believes that establishing trust and allowing clients to advocate for themselves whenever possible are effective building blocks to fostering her client’s success!

Deborah Soszko, LPMT, MT-BC
Director of Schools
Neurologic Music Therapist

Deborah is a board-certified, neurologic music therapist with over 10 years of clinical experience. She completed her music therapy degree at Illinois State University and her clinical internship at Giant Steps in Illinois. Deborah has since enjoyed working with both children and adults with a variety of needs/diagnoses including early intervention, developmental disabilities, autism, and other neurodevelopmental disorders, speech rehabilitation, EDBD, and Alzheimer’s care. Deborah approaches her clinical work by ensuring each person's autonomy, communication methods, and interests are respected and embraced throughout the therapeutic process using a person-centered approach.

Music Therapist
Clinical Team Lead

Emily is a Board-Certified Music Therapist. Emily received her Bachelor of Music degree from Millikin University and her Masters in Music Therapy from Saint Mary of the Woods College. She completed her music therapy internship at Dynamic Lynks. Emily loves working with both children and adults with varying needs/diagnoses. She uses an eclectic music therapy approach to best allow individuals to shine in sessions. Emily places an importance on building strong therapeutic relationships and values the rapport built between the therapist and client in order to come to the best therapeutic outcome. Using a person-centered approach, she celebrates individuality and focuses on each person’s strengths in order to reach their goals.

Jessica Benjamin, LPMT, MT-BC
Music Therapist

Jessica is a music therapist. She received her degree in music therapy from Illinois State University and completed her music therapy internship at Dynamic Lynks. She works with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults with varying neurodivergent diagnoses in group, individual, and telehealth settings. Jessica is very passionate about working with neurodivergent individuals and looks forward to seeing her clients grow.

Music Therapist

Jess is a board certified music therapist. She received her degree in music therapy from the University of Dayton where she also minored in psychology. Jess completed her music therapy internship at Mary Cariola Children’s Center in Rochester, New York. Jess’ client-centered approach focuses on honoring her client’s autonomy and celebrating the uniqueness of each individual. Jess has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults both individually and in a group setting, with a variety of needs/diagnoses such as developmental disabilities, autism, and other neurodivergent diagnoses.

Katherine Heffron, MT-BC
Music Therapist

Katherine is a Music Therapist who earned her Bachelor’s in Music from Saint Xavier University with a double major in Music Education and Voice Performance. She completed her Music Therapy Equivalency from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. Katherine joins the Dynamic Lynks team after completing her music therapy internship at Giant Steps, a therapeutic day school located in Lisle, IL. Katherine has a passion for working with all neurodivergent populations, with experience in working with autistic individuals ages 5-22 in both individual and group settings. She uses a person-centered approach in her practice with an emphasis on autonomy, exploration, and rapport building to help provide each client with positive experiences and growth.

Lulu LoCascio, LPMT, MT-BC
Music Therapist

Lulu is a board-certified music therapist who is excited to be joining the Dynamic Lynks team. She received her undergraduate degree in Music Therapy, with minors in songwriting and psychology, from the University of Miami. Lulu is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Lewis University. Lulu recently completed her internship at the Institute for Therapy Through the Arts in Chicago, gaining experience with a wide range of clients–from early elementary school classrooms to end-of-life care. Her humanistic, person-centered approach guides her in individualizing care and building strong rapport with clients. Lulu believes that clients should be involved in their care as much as possible. She celebrates the differences within her clients and strives to meet them where they are, creating spaces for connection and growth

Creative expression, emotional regulation, social skill building, self-esteem and confidence building, school-based music therapy, children and adolescents with moderate support needs, and neurodiversity.

Magaly Cordero, LPMT, MT-BC
Music Therapist

Magaly is a Board-Certified Music Therapist. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University, a master’s degree in Vocal Performance from Roosevelt University, and her music therapy equivalency degree from Slippery Rock University. She recently completed her internship at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn. Magaly has experience supporting clients in pediatric hospitals, schools, and homes. She is passionate about providing a safe, creative, and encouraging space so individuals can grow and thrive.

Intake Coordinator, Music Therapist
Clinical Team Lead

Taylor is a board certified music therapist. She received her degree in music therapy from the University of Evansville where she minored in psychology. Taylor has experience in a variety of settings with music therapy ranging from pediatric medical, helping young patients through the challenges and stresses of being in the hospital, to adolescent and adult mental health, supporting a diverse population of clients along their mental health journey. Taylor is passionate about providing a safe and supportive environment to all her clients and their families as they continue to learn, grow, and explore.

Leah Wisard, MTI
Music Therapy Intern

Leah is our 2025 - 2026 music therapy intern. She attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and majored in music therapy with a minor in psychology. Leah is passionate about child and adolescent mental health, emphasizing client empowerment through therapy experiences.

She wants to help individuals learn to take care of themselves emotionally and

grow into healthy adults.
