This song not only greets each person, but engages them to get their brains and bodies ready for the day! 
 
Goodbye songs provide concrete closure to a group. Using the same goodbye song at the end of every group also provides a sense of comfort through routine and consistency, even though the activities in a group may change. Having closure at the end of the group is important to the therapeutic process, as it helps provide space for clients to review the skills they practiced in the group and continue to have a positive outlook on the group.
